Lettermo is over + Incoming

Today, March 30, my first Lettermo has officially come to an end!
It's time for some stats:

I think it's quite a remarkable goal for just a month! And just to let you all know, I was happy with every single bit of paper that you sent me :3

Unfortunately, I don't have the pictures of the last letters that went out for the Lettermo early this week; I wasn't at my place and I didn't have the camera with me. Anyway, they were for: Kelly, my new penpal from Canada; Iris, and two for some girls from swapbot.
Today's letter, and the very last for the Lettermo, went out for Neda:

I've also received some pretty mail this week (under the cut!).

Request A Letter: April

Sooo, my first month of Lettermo will end tomorrow, and I've already decided to repeat this experience next month. To get a head start, I'm already accepting requests in case you want to receive something from me! This time I'll take 9 requests only, bacause I've some swaps to do and moreover, this is quite an expensive hobby ಥ_ಥ
Before requesting a letter, please read here what is this about, then you can click here to go ahead with the request EDIT: I've already received all the requests, so please don't send anymore! If you're interested, stick around coz I'll be doing it next month ;) If you alrready requested one on march, please don't sign up. The form will stop working as soon as I get the maximum number of requests, so if you click and it doesn't work, then you're lat, but hopefully I'll be doing this again next month.

vintage books haul

Last friday , we had a day off from Uni and decided to have a walk in the historical center of the town.
Despite my profound hate for the city I live in, I must admit that the historical center is one of my favorite places, especially for the abundance of vintage shops and books stores!
With less than 20 euros, I've bought seven pretty vintage books that I'll be using to make mail art, collages, etc.
Here's some pics :3

"La Leda Senza Cigno III" by Gabriele D'Annunzio, and "Monsieur Parent + La Piccola Roque" by Guy De Maupassant.

incoming Birthday Mail + Lettermo day 19 & 20

A week ago it was my birthday, and my lovely friend Khris (from Spain), sent me the loveliest presents ever!

As the tag says, it was indeed a very special present for me, it nearly brought me to tears. I was so excited to open it that I literally overthrew the content of the envelope on my desk and that's what came out:

Lettermo day 16, 17 & 18 + incoming

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm officially more than halfway through the lettermo :)

As usual, here's the picture of the 3 letters I've sent so far this week:

First one was for Joan. She wrote me that she would have liked me to send her anything like doodle, pressing and notes, so I thought she might be one of those who could also enjoy an handmade envelope.. and I hope I'm right!
The second one was for Mikela, which mentioned that her fav color is pastel pink. Tough I know it's not pastel, a pink envelope sounded like a good idea to me.. and once again let's hope this will be appreciated :)
Last but not least in this first round of mailing, it's Mary's letter! Even if in the picture it only has one stamp, I had to add another one because it was apparently too heavy.

Home made envelopes!

As some of you might know, it was my birthday a while ago, and I received a graphic tablet, and a printer from my lovely boyfriend; a perfect combo to experiment printing my stuff on everything :D
Yesterday I printed some of my designs on some envies I'll be sending out for the Lettermo:

Lettermo day 11, 12 & 13

Katie, Steffi, Neda, Tegan, Oana, and Sarah, are those who received my letter so far, or at least those who let me know. I'm really excited about the fact that some of them are writing back!

This week first letter went out for Sophia; I finally made it after all the exams at Uni.

Lettermo 8, 9 and 10

Another week completed!
I'm so happy I eventually made it for this week's goal, that I can't even tell. It's been an awful week for me but at least I had something pleasant to focus on.

(spolier alert for: Oana, Maggie and Caraa)

From wednesday through friday, these are the letter that went out.

Incoming Mail #2

This week, I've received a lot of pretty letters, and I'm still so excited about them!
On monday I got the remaining two postcards I was waiting for the book suggestions swap:

The first one is my favorite, I really love black&white vintage-looking postcards, and moreover, the pictures itself is really beautiful. The second one, is also nice. It would be even better if the font wasn't comic sans.. but this time I can get over it u_u

Lettermo day 6 & 7

Today and yesterday's letters that have been sent, are one for the 'instant photo swap' I joined on swap-bot, and one requested here.
(Spoiler alert for: Tegan.)

The envelope I used for this letter is one of those that my friend/business partner pensandenvelopes @tumblr hand-made and sent me a while ago. It was hard to send out this envelope, I really love it and all the others she sent me. I was very tempted to use them into my journals for scrapbooking and such, but envelopes are made to be sent after all, and also it would have been a pity to stick them the day for one of them has come on monday.

Incoming + special delivery

The past week has been quite satisfying in terms of incoming mail. Here's what I found in my mailbox.

This, is a Valentine's card from Iris, which was totally unexpected but very much appreciated :) Moreover I also was a lot surprised that her mail hadn't got lost somewhere, since that most of the letters we've exchanged so far didn't make it to our houses. I don't know, Mexico and Italy seem to have the worst postal connection ever! But anyway, the next letter I'm going to write and send her, will arrive to her because I'm going to use registered mail; I'm sick and tired of missing letters.

Lettermo day 3, 4 and 5

The first week has been succesfully completed, and yes, I must say I'm very satisfied and proud of myself that I was able to keep up with my schedule.
The letters sent are the following:
(Neda, if you're reading, you might want to stop, since one of these letters is for you. Also, Tegan, one of those contains spoilers for yours & believe me, it won't be hard to figure out which one...)
The first ones, are for the last two people off sendsomething, and the last one is the first off the list of people that requested me one.
