A little birdy told me

Lately, I've been finding myself using cheap white labels to make my own stickers to somehow decorate my letters. I did like the designs but I wasn't happy with the flimsy quality of them, so I decided to have some professionally printed.
I've been really liking using brown envelopes without too many decorations, and those stickers came really in hand to add a little cute touch to them ☺
I had to print quite a few of them, and I don't think I would ever be able to use them all by myself, so I'm selling some on Etsy.
If you like them and want to spice up your letters with a cheeky sticker, you can buy them here.

February

Hello everyone!
February passed by so fast it's crazy.. Here's what I've been busy doing:

Reading: still 1Q84 by Murakami. I've just started the second book of the trilogy and finally the plot is unraveling and I'm loving it even more;
Watching: the Walking Dead, Girls, and I've recently seen the pilot a few new series but it's still to early to decided whether I like them or not.
Eating: kiwifruits, lots of these!
Drinking: organic green tea;
Using: brown paper envelopes again, which I'm liking to leave quite simple without going overboard with decorations. I feel like just a nice strip of washi tape compliments them better, and I really hope my penpals are enjoying this new "style" as well.
Recently: dyed my hair with henna from Lush. I'm not too sure how I like them but it'll do;
Wearing: my hair up. It's at this stage where they're not short nor long, and I really dislike it. So instead of loosing my mind with it, I'm just throwing it in a awkward length ponytail or bun and I'm pretty much done with it.
Listening: I've been listening to literally 5 songs on endless repeat this month, and one of them I particularly like is Cut Your Teeth by Kyla La Grange (Kygo Remix);
Trying: to focus on one thing at a time, complete it, and then move on to the next one. (Am I succeeding? Nope. Not really.);
Purchased: nothing noteworthy, I'm limiting myself to buying only the necessary to save up for a couple projects;
Working: out! I've been going to the gym 4 days a week and I'm loving it.

I'm curious, what have you been up to lately? ☺
Have a nice day,

Mail lately

I've been neglecting the blog again, sigh, I haven't posted about my outgoing mail in a while and I thought it was time for an update.
Here's something I've sent out in the past month:
As I mentioned in my monthly wrap up for January, I've been experimenting new mediums, and with DAS I created this little family of owls that have been sent to a special someone in Belgium.
I've sent a few orders from my Etsy, and a letter to Maddie.
I made a painting (to be shown after the recipients collects it) and sent it across the ocean.
And lastly, more orders, and a letter to Corey and one to Ari ♥

What have you sent lately?
Have a nice day,

Detail: mail from Mexico

I feel really blessed to have many talented friends all over the globe that care to share their wonderful creations with me every now and again! In this particular case, I'm referring to Ely, my awesome penpal from Mexico.
With her letter (all written in spanish, I want to add ♥), she sent me some cards and stickers she designed, and that I quickly fell in love with:
She was also so kind to include a present for my birthday (which is in about 3 weeks, but knowing how slow mail from Mexico reaches me, I truly appreciate the thoughtfulness of the gesture), which is this dragonfly notebook, that besides being gorgeous, is also made from recycled materials and I don't think it could get better than that!
Last but not least, she included a "city explorer kit" from her trip to Querétaro, and I loved going through all the bits and pieces imagining the places she visited ☺
Thank you so much for your wonderful parcel, Ely. Will write back soon!

What did you receive lately?
Have a great week,

Detail: mail from Ari

Erlier this week, I received an parcel from my friend Ari, a wonderful artist from California.
I already featured some of her mail here on the blog, and I probably already said this too, but she's one of those people with whom I just clicked right away, and seeing her letters popping in my mailbox is particularly exciting.
Here's some eye candy for you~
& this is her zine (which you can get here) and besides being a-mazing, it also features a little thing I sent her in the mail a while back ♥ such an honor!
Talk to you soon!
