Are you looking for a penpal? II

Here' some of the penpal ads I received recently, if you're looking for a new friend, this might be your chance to find it ☺!

"Hi, my name is Marisa and I'm 22 years old. I want a pen pal either in the US or internationally and I enjoy things such as swapping, collecting stamps, decorating planners, putting together cute parcels, smash book and other scrapbooking, cute note cards, and everything else in between. I know everyone has their own life going on, but I'm looking for someone that can take some time out and maybe send me some mail every few weeks? I want to get involved in the snail mail community!"

"Hello! My name is Autumn Echo. I am 18 years old, from New York. I'm looking for pen pals all over the world. I love coffee, owls, crafting, snail mail, reading, poetry. I'm willing to swap letter, post cards, and/or small parcels. I respond quickly as well, so if you are looking for someone to correspond with quite regularly, I'm your girl. If you are interested in being pen pals with me, please contact me by email."

"Hello :) I'm Dani.
I am 25 years old and living in Massachusetts.
I like YA books and Jane Austen, colonial houses, halloween, Buffy, Doctor Who, picnics, long and deep conversations, little love notes, unique greeting cards, The Mortal Instruments, pagan holidays, and trying foods from other countries.
I am looking for a female penpal around my age, with similar interests, with whom I can hopefully develop a great friendship. Any country.
I hope to hear from someone soon!"

Secret Penpal Scavenger Hunt 2014 reveal day!

Hello everyone! 2014 seems like to be just started but one month is already gone by, and today marks a very special day, the reveal for the Secret Penpal Scavenger Hunt!
I've been really lucky this year too, to be paired with an amazing person who put lot of care and attention into my package. My partner was Giova (who blogs over at "One Bunting Away" - check it out, it's rather great!) and this are the amazing finds of her scavenger:
1. Mail Art Kit - a wonderful assortment of paper, packed very nicely as well, that will probably satisfy my paper needs for the next month!

January

Hello there, everyone!
My friend Michelle over at Seaweed Kisses wrote this very interesting post to wrap up the happenings of the past month. I thought it was a really cool idea to share with you what i've been up to (and hopefully read in the comments what you have been up to!).
So here we go:

Reading: 1Q84 by Murakami. Many reviews I've read describe it as a "waste of paper and ink" but I'm honestly really enjoying it so far, even tho the genre is new to me;
Watching: How I Met Your Mother, and I just finished American Horror Story: Coven, but I must admit it was my least favorite season so far, and the plot holes throughout the whole series are absurd;
Eating: nothing in particular, except cereal biscuits for breakfast and with my tea;
Drinking: a very nice apple & cinnamon tea;
Using: DAS, to make little critters to send to my friends! I haven't used DAS since I was in middle school probably, but I've seen lots of people using it, and clay, recently that I felt like picking it up again and give it a try;
Recently: dyed my hair with henna from Lush. I'm not too sure how I like them but it'll do;
Wearing: my new burgundy combat boots, which besides being really cool comes in handy with this horrible weather;
Listening: I'm obsessed with this song: Ghost Gunfighters by As Animals;
Trying: to study for my next two exams, ugh;
Purchased: a subscription to the gym to try and get fit again (aka be able to climb the stairs without getting out of breath);
Working: on some products for my shop. So far I've made a set of cute illustrated postcards, and I'll soon list some stickers, so keep your eyes peeled!

What have you been up to lately? ☺
Have a nice day,
ƒ.

the Little Letter Girls

I'm here to - very cautiously - announce that my creative block is gone! *cheerful sound*
Despite spending the past few weeks (..months) bent over a statistics book in which I have no interest at all, I've had a few days during which my creativity reached some pretty impressive spikes and I even felt good about what was coming out of it.

As a new year's resolution I decided to be more positive about my art, whether it's a doodle on the back of receipt, or a 10x10 painting.. and to move the first step towards this goal, I decided to go big or go home by printing a few postcards of my latest illustrations series!

Ladies and gentlemen, please meet "the Little Letter Girls"~
If you like them, you can buy a set of 4 or 8, here. I'm feeling happy so I'm having free shipping worldwide for a few days ☺
What do you think? Aren't they cute? I would love to hear your feedback!

Have a great day,
ƒ.
