Smash Sunday

Hi guys!Since many of you already have a smashbook, and some other are thinking about getting one, I thought it would be fun to share some tips and ideas with you on how to decorate your pages.
Also, most of the ideas can also be applied when crafting envelopes or stationery for your penpals, so even if you're not into scrapbooking, you may find something interesting ☺
Today I'll show you how to make a 2 minutes yet very decorative paper bunting:

Illustrations & freebies

Hello everyone, how is it going?
My life is boring as usual :D and even though I should spend my days with my nose in my Uni books, I end up doing random stuff at the computer.
This past weekend was pretty (un)productive, and I made a set of 6 notes -

that I'll be using for my snail mail, journaling etc and decided to put a free download link. If guys like them I will post more stuff every once in a while, so let me know! :)

Moleskine Monday #1

Today's pages in my altered art journal, are both dedicated to a project i'm working on with a friend.

"snail mail"
"Snail mail makes me happy" - mixed medias.
Pretty self-explanatory page: I've always been into snail mail, and receiving and sending letters makes me happy like only a very other few things do. During my second year of middle school, since I was fluent enough in english to be able to write a whole letter, I started having many penpals all over the world. One of those, a girl from Canada, is still currently my pen pal, and I consider her one of my best friends, even if we've never met. We've been writing to each other for 9 years and I'm pretty sure I can claim to know her better than many of my "real life" friends, and the same is for her. Apart from her, for a reason or another I've lost contacts with all the others, and only recently I've started looking for new people to exchange letters with.

#4

So then: my entry for the Sketchbook Project 2012 is finally complete and I felt like ranting about it.
Quick recap about what is the Sketchbook Project: after signing up for the project and paying a *little* sum of money, the Brooklyn Art Library sends you a blank sketchbook which you're supposed to fill in according to a theme you've chosen at the moment that you joined it. Once your sketchbook is complete, you send it back at the Brooklyn Art Library and it will be collected along with all the other participants' sketchbooks and be exhibited to the public. (There are still a few sketchbook available if you happen to be interested; click.)
