summer diary part 3

Ok, I promise this is the last post about summer holidays, but I took so many pictures that it's a pity to leave them just occupy space in my hard disk, isn't it?

Today I'll show you the little hamlet where we stayed - and the nearby one, where we cycled every other day.

Most of the buildings date back to Medieval age, in fact every year in July it takes place a Medieval fair during which all the inhabitants dress in typical costumes and recreates scenes from the life of the time. I went there once when I was younger and it was really nice.

summer diary part 2

I know it's not Tuesday, however there are 3 things I've been doing while on holiday:

1. Writing postcards & wearing a black straw hat (that made me look like a widow..)

summer diary part 1

Hello guys! Sooo, I'm back from my holiday on the mountains and even though it was surprisingly hard to settle in the urban atmosphere again, I'm back on my feet and ready to share some of my experiences with you :)

Just a little premise before I start: I know it has pretty much anything to do with my usual posts, but I will post about my mail soon enough, I promise! Oh, and  I've taken most of the pictures with my analog camera and due to the holiday, I can't have my rolls developed just yet, so instead I'll be posting a few of the digital ones!

The place where I've been staying, is a little village in a highland region in the middle of Italy.
It has no more than 200 inhabitants and the unpaved roads are not unusual to find.

SMASH Sunday

Hi guys. How's your day?
For me it's just another boring Sunday, but thanks to your positive response, I'll be sharing with you my progresses in my SMASHbook, and please feel free to give me feedback :)

That's the page I've done right away when I got back from the festival in Rome. There's the ticket of the event, the flyer, one of those glow light stick bracelets, and a picture (not mine) from that night :)

3 things tuesday

Hey guys. How's your Tuesday?
I don't know why, lately I've this sort of urge to blog about the random stuff that crosses my mind, and since I'm too lazy and unorganised to create another separate blog for ranting, I'll just use one of those non-related mail days to post about them. If you're not interested in my randomness, you might just want to skip this post, I don't mind :3
Anyway, my friend Michelle over at On the Adventure, has that column in her blog called "5 things I'd rather be doing", which is a lot of fun to look/read. I was about to "steal" her idea when I realised that my 5 things would probably be always the same and it wouldn't be very interesting, would it?
So I decided to reduce the number of things (I'm lazy, you see..) and instead of listing things that I'd like to be doing, they will be 3 things I've been doing.
So let's see what I've been doing lately:

1. I've re-arranged my paintings and the picture frames on my wall. So far I have 10 frames & paintings hung and I'm on my way to cover the whole right side of my wall with them. (file under: obsession of the past few months)

july mail week #1

Hey guys! How did July started for you? :)
I had a lot to do with my sister's and dad's birthday, my sister's graduation, a lab at Uni etc etc, so I didn't really had the time to take any picture of the outgoing letters, sorry!
Anyway they did go out as planned, and they were for: Ines, Neda, Mona and Ria. At the moment I'm replying to a few others and update the post as soon as I'm done with them.

On a side note, I'm going to Rome in 3 days! I'll make sure to buy some postcards for you guys :3
Also, my boyfriend bought me this gorgeous photo album:

Isn't it pretty? I'm in love with it ♥

I'm going to keep my lomo and analog pictures in it, which reminds me that I should really go to the photographer to develop 5 rolls that have been getting dusty on my desk for months now!

PS. I'm looking for people to guest post here on my blog for the holidays. It could be about an art project, snail mail project, or just something about you and your love for mail! If you'd like to write here, drop me an email and let me know your ideas about it! :3

Illustrations & freebies

Hello everyone, how is it going?
My life is boring as usual :D and even though I should spend my days with my nose in my Uni books, I end up doing random stuff at the computer.
This past weekend was pretty (un)productive, and I made a set of 6 notes -
that I'll be using for my snail mail, journaling etc and decided to put a free download link. If guys like them I will post more stuff every once in a while, so let me know! :)
