smash sunday

Hello everyone! I've got a quick smashbook update for you today.
A while back, as you may already know, I decided to get two more tattoos and decided to make a couple of pages about them in my mini smash.
It's nothing major, really, but I just wanted to have a reminder of that day (even tho I can look at my arm for the rest of my life to remind me of it, can't I?!).

So, anyway, what I did is just sticking a few keepsakes: the reference image I gave to the tattoo artist, his business cards (the b/w one) and the card of the tattoo shop. I also took an instant picture of my *very* swollen arm right after I got home. It isn't the best picture, I reckon, but still!
The other tattoo I got is pretty simple so it wasn't worth it picture-wise; it's a crescent moon outline on the outer side of my right wrist, plain and simple :)

Do you guys have any tattoos?! I'd love to know!
Have a great Sunday,
ƒ.

So, being serious, it's been a while since I last posted a proper Smash Sunday, isn't it? So even if a couple of months later, I decided to show you my first two pages spread dedicated to my trip to Paris.

smash sunday

Good evening guys! Today for smash sunday, I want to share with you another penpal page of my book. This one is filled with all (almost!) the lovely stuff that was sent to me by Thea, one of my Norwegian penpals!
On the left page, I put a postcard of Bergen, the place where she was studying, and a tea label that was too cute to throw away. I decided not to glue this stuff but to attach it with a paperclip instead, so I can have more room for future things ☺

Smash Sunday

Hi guys!Since many of you already have a smashbook, and some other are thinking about getting one, I thought it would be fun to share some tips and ideas with you on how to decorate your pages.
Also, most of the ideas can also be applied when crafting envelopes or stationery for your penpals, so even if you're not into scrapbooking, you may find something interesting ☺
Today I'll show you how to make a 2 minutes yet very decorative paper bunting:

smash monday?

Hi guys! I know, Sunday's just passed, but it's been quite a while since I last showed you some of my pages in the smashbook, so why not take this empty Monday afternoon to do so?
These are the pages I made after Florence's concert, and I promise I'll try not to dwell on it too much..

smash sunday + giveaway!

Hi guy, happy Sunday! I hope those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had an amazing day on Thursday, and that the rest of you are enjoying your almost holidays :)
Today I'm back with pictures of my smash* which aren't exactly great quality but still you should be able to get an idea of the pages I did lately.

Those pages I'm showing you, are dedicated to my friend Kelly, the penpal who visited me earlier in October:

On this side of the page, I glued her latest letter in which she told me about the rest of the trip in Italy, what she did/liked etc and a picture of the lovely gifts she brought me from Chicago: a t-shirt and a shot glass with the city skyline!
Also I have to say, the letter was sealed with a gorgeous wax seal she got in Florence. However when it came, it was already half damaged and I wasn't able to remove it safely to keep it intact.. so yeah I'm a mess! But trust me, it was pretty rad.

smash sunday

Hello guys! How's your Sunday? I'm writing you from my boyfriend's place, so at least I'm in good company today :3
Last week I hadn't posted a Smash Sunday because.. well, actually I just forgot about it to be honest, but I haven't today, so that's good I guess!

When Katie gave me this Smashbook, she explicitly wrote me that it would have been perfect to scrapbook about my mail and penpals, so a while ago I decided that I would have used some pages for this purpose. The first page I made is dedicated to my American penpal Marisa:

smash sunday

Hello my dears!
Wut, it's sunday again? Time moves too fast in my opinion!
Oh, anyway.. this week for the SMASH* sunday I'm going to show you a sort of "filler" page, which isn't exactly anything special, but still, here it is:

I've titled it the "music archive 2008/2012" (my titling skill never fails me!).

smash sunday

Good afternoon guys :)
I'm writing this post about today's SMASH* pages with glistening eyes because they bring such sweet memories back, so don't mind me if I get emotional later on!
Anyhow, I feel like this post need a little back story, so here you go:
I have a pin board above my bed with a lot of travel mementos pinned on it, but one day I woke up and decided I wanted to keep my memories somewhere else, as keeping some of them under my eyes everyday didn't feel right anymore. So, what place better than my SMASH*?

smash sunday

Good afternoon guys! :) Today I'm going to show you two more pages in my SMASHbook dedicated to last summer when my boyfriend and I spent two weeks in London.

What I did, is once again just smashing in everything I had kept from the trip, but this is the purpose of the smashbook, isn't it?
I also made a small header, you know, to contextualise, and I stapled some tiny Union Jacks on a string because I thought they looked cute (and to be honest, also because I didn't know what else to put in that space.)

smash sunday

Hi guys! This Sunday I'm going to show you the pages I've made during my trip to the mountains.

I've glued a flyer of the zoo, as it had that nice bear on it, some leaves, the bill of a small restaurant that served homemade meals, and a picture I snapped in the town.

SMASH Sunday + freebie

I NO LONGER POST ON THIS BLOG, PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY NEW ONE!

Hello guys! It's Sunday again, but not as boring as usual (I'm actually predicting the future as I write, because I will schedule this post, as at the moment I should be in a sweet village in the woods, eating ice cream under the shade of a tree - well, this, or I'm probably having the worst time of my life, I don't know it yet; I'll let you know when I get back, though!).

I didn't really had any completed page to show you today, so, instead I've got a little gift for you:

As you can see, this is the back of my SMASHbook. It already comes with a pocket on the last page, but I find it quite tight and too high to put in it all the small paper scraps one might have. So, thanks to my versatile abilities (just kidding) in Photoshop, I've made this folder that can come in handy to store stickers, stamps, or whatever you need for your SMASHing sessions.

click here to download (1.1MB .pdf file)

On a side note, I also use it to tuck little things I send to my penpals from time to time, so that could be another use for it. (Maybe just print it slightly smaller).

That's all for today! Hope you will enjoy the freebie :)
Have a nice day,

ƒ.

SMASH Sunday

Hi guys. How's your day?
For me it's just another boring Sunday, but thanks to your positive response, I'll be sharing with you my progresses in my SMASHbook, and please feel free to give me feedback :)

That's the page I've done right away when I got back from the festival in Rome. There's the ticket of the event, the flyer, one of those glow light stick bracelets, and a picture (not mine) from that night :)

SMASH Sunday

Hi guys!
Remember when Katie got me a SMASHbook? Since then I've had the chance to work a little bit on it and make a few pages.

I was thinking about sharing them here during my boring Sunday afternoons.

What do you guys think? Would you like to see a few post like this? :)
Let me know and have a good day!
