A little while ago, I started a project over on Instagram, that I called Postally Connected.
For my birthday I received Keri Smith's 'Everything is Connected', which is a book of postcards with fun tasks written on them.
Instead of filling them in and then send them, I decided I wanted to give the chance to have a bit of fun with them to someone else, and this is how the project started.
I sent 10 postcards to ten lovely girls, and today, I want to share with you the second batch of postcards that came back to me, to show you what a great work they did with them!
The first one is from Bernice, which is an incredibly creative gal! Our task was to draw a portrait of me as a superhero, and a portrait of her as a bad guy!
I drew myself as SuperFab (which sounds sooo cheesy, omg) and I even have a Bunny-Signal à la Batman, while she drew herself as Bermean, so freaking cool!
Next up, is from Jessica; her task was to decorate a 'public space' inviting people to contribute
and it's so cool to have a token from Toronto Zine Library as I image in it like a very artistic and inspiring place, perfect environment for this kind of project!
Lastly, I received Chomri's postcard as well! Her postcard had a blank sign she had to fill with a message of her choice, and let me say, she did it beautifully!
I absolutely adore it; the message and execution are just great!
So, thank you gals for joining and making this project special!
I can't wait to send more postcards out!
Much love,
ƒ.

#postallyconnected pt 1

Instead of filling them in and then send them, I decided I wanted to give the chance to have a bit of fun with them to someone else, and this is how the project started.
I sent 10 postcards to ten lovely girls, and today, I want to share with you the first three postcards that came back to me, to show you what a great work they did with them!
The first one I received, is this one from Pandique in Sweden. As you can see, pandas are a serious business and they have their on sparkly planet, so cute!
Next I got this lovely gentleman from Spain, made by a very talented girl named Blanca (which also sent me am hand-decorated notebook!).
To prove that Mr. Postcard went with her everywhere, she documented her day in pictures:
How awesome is that? He definitely had an interesting day!
The last postcard I received so far, is from Michelle in the US.
The task on her postcard was to mess up the shirt, and she did that by using food coloring. So original, don't you think?
I'm still waiting for the remaining 7 postcard to get back to me, but so far I'm really happy with how this project is going :)

the Little Letter Girls
I'm here to - very cautiously - announce that my creative block is gone! *cheerful sound*
Despite spending the past few weeks (..months) bent over a statistics book in which I have no interest at all, I've had a few days during which my creativity reached some pretty impressive spikes and I even felt good about what was coming out of it.
As a new year's resolution I decided to be more positive about my art, whether it's a doodle on the back of receipt, or a 10x10 painting.. and to move the first step towards this goal, I decided to go big or go home by printing a few postcards of my latest illustrations series!
Ladies and gentlemen, please meet "the Little Letter Girls"~
If you like them, you can buy a set of 4 or 8, here. I'm feeling happy so I'm having free shipping worldwide for a few days ☺
What do you think? Aren't they cute? I would love to hear your feedback!
Have a great day,
ƒ.

Super Clearance Sales
Hi guys! First off let me thank all of you who signed up for the exclusive printables newsletter, and those who emailed me their questions on the matter.
Quite a few of you asked me if it was possible to receive a newsletter for free in January, you know, to taste the waters, and I must say it's a great idea, and I really should have though about it myself!
So, if you think you might be interested in subscribing to the monthly newsletter, but you wanna try it first, fill this form with your email by January 20th, and you'll receive an extra issue of the newsletter for free!
(After that, you'll be automatically unsubscribed, and if you want to continue to receive the printables, all you have to do is sign up for it).
Of course, all of you who already subscribed will also be receiving this first one extra ☺
Now, I wanted to tell you that I'm having a huge sale in my Etsy Shop, so come take a look!
And also, I added a new product: Vintage Collage Kits
Have a great week!

august mail week #3
Hello guys :) This week I had a letter writing spree, and the chance to reply to a bunch of letters that were awaiting for a response since I left for the holidays.
Since Monday, I've sent 8 letters and 3 postcards in total; They were for:
Marysza in Poland, and Nada in Algeria.
The hand made envelope with all these books seems just perfect for Marysza, as they reminded me of her awesome creations :)

lost & found in my mailbox
Hi guys! As you might have noticed yesterday there was no freebie Friday..because this week I've made a special one for a friend's blog but I can't tell you more than that for now u_u However, next week I'll share some freebies again, don't worry!
This week I've found a couple of pleasant surprises in my mailbox, but alas, a displeasing one too.
Let's start with the lovely letters I've received:
this is one is from Mona. She makes the loveliest envelopes. Along with the letter, she sent some postcards she took during her trip to San Fran, and I'm not sure if you can see, but one has a very vintage touch!
Then, I got Maggie's letter.
It travelled quite a long time to reach me from the Arab Emirates, but luckily it eventually arrived safely, and so did the seashell that she included for me :)

july mail week #2
Hi guys! How are you today?
Yesterday I got back from Rome, they've been a couple of really nice days and the concert was pretty awesome. Besides a couple of drawbacks, I really enjoyed it :)
I didn't had the chance to actually send postcards from Rome, but some of you will be receiving a postcard anyway along with your letters :3
Speaking of letters, as soon as I got back home, I had the chance to finally catch up with a couple of you, and this morning I sent out letters for:
Alicja, Neda, Marjolijn, and not to forget the Travelling Notebook to Elisse.
The first 10 out of 20 postcards that had been requested, also will be going out anytime soon this week :)
However I will surely write and send some more letters too, (so far they're for Nadz and Sara S.)
I'll update the outgoing list in the next post!
Have a lovely day,
ƒ.

postcard-mo?
I keep receiving emails from people asking me about when will I do another lettermo and if I will accept letter requests again. As I said before, I loved doing the lettermo, but besides being a little too expensive for me, I was also pretty upset that the majority of people that requested and received a letter, never even bothered to send me an email or a message just to say "hey, the letter made it!".
On the other hand, I'm also grateful because thanks to it, I met some amazing people.. so I'm doing something slightly different for the summer, but with the same leitmotif.
As some of you might know, I'll spend the summer at home this year. If there's someone else like me that is not going anywhere and would like to find a little something in their mailbox, you can request a postcard!
There are only 20 slots available, so if you signed up in time, I'll send you a confirmation email.
EDIT: Ok guys, I've already filled up all the slots, thank ya'll! I'll be sending confirmation messages soon~~

cute finds #2
Yesterday was an unexpected stationery-shopping day. I was planning to save money this month but so far I've incredibly failed.
Anyway, walking home from Uni, we stopped in one of my favourite shops and I found myself surrounded by a lot of awesome stationery supplies. For the above mentioned reason, I've only (but not really) bought three thingies.
"Sukie Box of Labels" by chronicle books and a two designs memo pad by Midori.
Not that I've counted them, but the Sukie box contains over 100 labels and various stickers. It's a good thing you can't see me right now because I'm almost drooling.
I've also bought this gorgeous booklet of postcards by Ana Juan:
Her illustrations are so fascinating and most of them are black and white, lush! Some of her characters reminds me of Tweedledum & Tweedledee of Alice in Wonderland (the one by Tim Burton), with the big round head and all, ahah. I'll be keeping some of them for myself, but the rest will be used for my various postal activities :)
