Last Friday I had an exam and got a surprisingly very high grade, so when I got back home I was in a rather cheery mood.
I picked up my watercolors and started doodling on an envelope. It had been a while since I last hand painted anything, and it felt really refreshing. It still doesn't have a recipient, but I still wanted to share it with you ♥
Some details:
What do you find yourself doing when you're happy?
Have a lovely day,
ƒ.

august mail week #3
Hello guys :) This week I had a letter writing spree, and the chance to reply to a bunch of letters that were awaiting for a response since I left for the holidays.
Since Monday, I've sent 8 letters and 3 postcards in total; They were for:
Marysza in Poland, and Nada in Algeria.
The hand made envelope with all these books seems just perfect for Marysza, as they reminded me of her awesome creations :)

summer mail!
Hey you guys! Finally a mail related post :) I received so many letters while I was on holiday that it took me a while to go through them all.
Before I show you what I received, let me update you on the outgoing letters. Since I got back I've sent a letter to: Ria, Lauren, Neda, Marjolijn and Mehreen; At the moment I'm writing more letters that will go out by the end of this week, and as soon as I finish them, I'll let you know for who they were.
Now, let's take a look at the awesomeness I found in my mailbox, shall we?
First, I received those two postcards: the St. Ives one (top) from the lovely Haych, and the bottom Croatian one from Mihaela, one of my friends over at swap-bot.

July mail week #4 + updates
Hello guys :)
Lots of letters will be sent this week since shortly I'll go on a brief trip in a little village lost in the woods and I won't be able to send any letter from there. I'm really looking forward for some relax~
Anyway, here's what I've sent this week:
A letter to Emily in Sweden, and one to H. in the UK. Harriet and I are now mail art pals :)

lost & found in my mailbox
Hi guys! As you might have noticed yesterday there was no freebie Friday..because this week I've made a special one for a friend's blog but I can't tell you more than that for now u_u However, next week I'll share some freebies again, don't worry!
This week I've found a couple of pleasant surprises in my mailbox, but alas, a displeasing one too.
Let's start with the lovely letters I've received:
this is one is from Mona. She makes the loveliest envelopes. Along with the letter, she sent some postcards she took during her trip to San Fran, and I'm not sure if you can see, but one has a very vintage touch!
Then, I got Maggie's letter.
It travelled quite a long time to reach me from the Arab Emirates, but luckily it eventually arrived safely, and so did the seashell that she included for me :)

moustache in my mailbox
Hello you guys! How are you doing? Have your mailboxes being filled with awesomeness this week?
Mine surely did, because I have quite a few awesome penpals :3
Let's see..
This Tuesday I received a letter from Andie in Portugal, after a long time of postal bad luck. It was such a pleasure to read a letter from her again :)
Along with it, she sent me some paper goodies and a felt moustache! I have to figure out how to wear it >:B
On the same day, I received another letter from Portugal, this time from Sara.
She sent me two beautiful postcards and a little baggie of stickers, all tucked in an a lovely handmade envelope!
The following letter is from Thea in Norway.
She also sent one of her analog pictures (so beautiful - I'll hang it on my wall very soon!) and some yummy tea :)

mail art in my mailbox
Hello my dears :)
how was your mail week?
Mine started pretty late. I didn't received anything since Thursday, but it was absolutely worth the waiting! Not in a particular order, that's what I received:

This letter, is my first from my new penpal Nadz from Malaysia.
She wrote me a very interesting letter introducing herself and the culture of her country, which I must say, is so fascinating! There are a lot of native tribes where she lives, and the person on the postcard belongs to one of those. As I said, so fascinating!

june mail week #3
Hello there!
Maybe, and I say maybe, I'm back on track with the blog, eventually.
Or at least I will, starting from Monday.
Today, to end this messy couple of mail weeks, I'm going to do a post about both incoming and outgoing mail of the past week.
Let's get started with the incoming!
This one, or better, those two, are from Neda in Norway. She sent me a letter and also a postcard from her recent trip to London :)
How I wish to go back there again! >n<

ironman in my mailbox
Hello guys!
I'm sorry I've been absent in the past few days, but I still have one course at Uni that is really time consuming, so I couldn't really keep the blog updated.
Anyway I have received a bunch of letters in the past days, and I think it's finally time to show you :)
The first thing I received was this letter from Roxana in the US. She sent me a lovely decorated letter and some organic tea and a postcard from a recent trip to NY, so cool! And the tea is just great! Anyway the stamps on the envelope weren't cancelled.. Do any of you guys know why it happens sometimes? Not that I'm complaining.. she used very pretty stamps and my philatelic self is very happy that they're in perfect condition, but yeah, it's just one thing I've been wondering for a while.

june mail week #2
Hello you guys!
How are you doing this week? We're almost halfway through June already, which is sort of a bummer.. but anyway!
This week I'll be sending a lot of letters that I've kept on my desk for too long. Some of them have already being sent, others will be sent tomorrow or Friday. I have a terrible memory so, in no particular order, here's some pictures :3

Hello you guys!
How are you doing? I'm super busy with Uni, and keeping up with the letter writing is going to be a problem this month! But so far so good, I'm still on schedule :)

tea in my mailbox!
Hello again, fellow mail lovers :)
how's your postal life going this week? As for me, my mailbox has been filled with some pretty awesome mail that I can't wait to show you!
First, I've received this lovely teapot postcard and tea bags from Elisabeth in Germany :) I'm particularly excited to try the cherry flavoured one, I've never tasted it before!
This is not the only tea I've found in my mailbox, though..

another lettermo is over.
Hello everyone! This is my favourite time of the month, when I can see the big picture of what I've done during the whole month :)
Since I love graphs -especially pie ones- here's the one for April:
As you can see, the outgoing letters has been way more than the incoming ones, and also more than the monthly goal for the lettermo (about > 10 letters ).
Anyway, it's fine. I enjoyed my fourteen letters :) and of course I enjoyed writing all the 34 I've sent out.
If you've read my last post about outgoing letters, you might know that I was late with the deadline of this lettermo and still had to post those ten letters.
Today (which means I'm still in time for the April lettermo, YAY!), I've rushed at the post office, and sent out all the remaining envelopes.
Check them out :)

Lettermo April, week #1
Hello there, fellow stamplickers!
How is the writing life going? Mine, pretty good. On monday I started the lettermo and succesfully completed this week so far.
Too bad I haven't been feeling really well this week, and didn't really had the time and patience to take many pictures of the outgoing letters:

From left to right, in order of mailing date:
- the big yellow envelope, is for an ephemera swap. I've sent out 250g worth of vintage paper to Lesa from swap-bot, and hopefully I'll receive the same quantity of stuff from a girl from Israel, soon; (monday)
- First letter out of those requested, for Christabel in the UK; (tuesday)
- Penpal letter for Susan in the USA; (wednesday)
- Alicia's letter contains three inchies for a swap. It was my first time making inchies and I really hope they'll meet her tastes because I really felt like a noob while making them. :( (this morning)

Lettermo day 16, 17 & 18 + incoming
Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm officially more than halfway through the lettermo :)
As usual, here's the picture of the 3 letters I've sent so far this week:
First one was for Joan. She wrote me that she would have liked me to send her anything like doodle, pressing and notes, so I thought she might be one of those who could also enjoy an handmade envelope.. and I hope I'm right!
The second one was for Mikela, which mentioned that her fav color is pastel pink. Tough I know it's not pastel, a pink envelope sounded like a good idea to me.. and once again let's hope this will be appreciated :)
Last but not least in this first round of mailing, it's Mary's letter! Even if in the picture it only has one stamp, I had to add another one because it was apparently too heavy.
